Botanical Gardens and Niagara Falls – Photography Friday
November 2, 2018
Back at the end of June, I went on a road trip with my youngest sister. She was attending a conference in Buffalo, New York and didn’t want to make the trip alone, so I drove with her. I got to be a tourist while she attended her conference, visiting the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens and the Buffalo Zoo. We also managed make time to visit Niagara Falls together, walking across the border into Canada to view the falls from the other side. It was an incredible trip, and one I would definitely like to make again. I would have loved to plan things better so we could spend more time on the Canadian side of the falls – there are a few places that had closed by the time we crossed the border that we didn’t get to visit, like the Floral Showhouse, and I wish we could have ventured deeper into the city.
I shared a few digital photos I took on my Facebook page not long after we got home, but I just recently had the chance to get my film processed, so I’m delighted to get to share these images now.
